Preliminary discussions had been initiated with the canton's heritage department and the HEIG-VD. However, as part of the historeno project, it was not possible to produce a summary table due to the lack of support from the Canton of Bern's Heritage Department. Interested readers are invited to consult the cantonal heritage and energy departments directly for information.

This questionnaire was developed during the historeno project to survey a number of stakeholders on the opportunities and constraints involved in the energy renovation of buildings in old town centres.

A guide to renovating old buildings in town centres, produced by the AJENA association as part of the "Adapting old buildings to climate change" study, comprises four sections entitled "cahiers", covering : - the overall approach to renovation, - the building typologies of Burgundy-Franche-Comté's old town centres, - essential building concepts and the broad outlines of work recommendations, item by item, - the prerequisites for good project management. Although the examples and illustrations are based on the pre-1948 building typologies of the Bourgogne-France-Comté region, the guide is first and foremost an excellent methodological tool for any structure or individual wishing to carry out comprehensive, coherent, high-performance renovation that respects the characteristics of the heritage. The guide is supplemented by a number of documents: - six posters summarising elements of the guide (diagnosis, thermal concepts, winter and summer comfort, project schedule, identification of heritage features, interactions and work involved). - a map of protected sectors and local bio-source materials in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region - a comparison of bio-sourced materials from regional sources.
